Instructions for Authors
AgriScience Journal of Sustainable Agriculture and Agroecology welcomes submissions of original research, reviews, short communications, and case-based studies that align with its thematic scope. Authors are asked to follow the journal’s submission format as outlined below.
Submission Guidelines
All manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format through the journal’s online portal.
A cover letter is required, including the corresponding author’s contact details and a summary of the article’s importance.
Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review by another journal.
All co-authors should approve the final manuscript before submission.
Revisions may be requested for clarity, structure, or language.
Article Types
Research Articles: Empirical or theoretical studies with data-supported findings.
Review Articles: Literature syntheses offering critical analysis and research directions.
Case Studies: Descriptions of localised projects, community-based programs, or agricultural innovations.
Short Communications: Brief updates, preliminary results, or methodology notes.
Manuscript Structure
Title Page: Title, author names, affiliations, and contact details.
Abstract: 150-250 words summarising objectives, methods, findings, and relevance.
Keywords: Include 5-10 indexing terms.
Introduction: Present the research question and context.
Methods: Describe study design, experimental setup, and data analysis.
Results: Summarise key findings with tables or figures as needed.
Discussion: Interpret the results and place them within the broader literature.
Conclusion: Summarise main insights and note practical implications or future research.
References: Must be formatted in APA style and checked for accuracy.
Review Process
All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers. Initial feedback is typically shared within four weeks of submission.
Publication and Access
Upon acceptance, authors transfer copyright to the journal. All articles are published open access.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
A publication fee of $1019 applies. Authors may request a waiver or reduction if facing financial hardship.
