About the Journal

Journal of Advanced Robotics, Autonomous Systems and Human-Machine Interaction is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication dedicated to the science, engineering, and application of intelligent robotic systems. It provides a platform for researchers, engineers, computer scientists, and industry professionals to present work that advances the design, control, and integration of autonomous technologies in real-world settings.

The journal covers a wide range of topics in robotics, including industrial automation, service robots, autonomous vehicles, aerial and underwater robotics, and collaborative systems that interact safely with humans. It recognises that progress in robotics depends on combining mechanical design, sensing technologies, artificial intelligence, and human factors research.

Areas of focus include robotic perception, motion planning, control algorithms, machine learning for autonomous decision-making, multi-robot coordination, human-robot interaction, haptics, and safety mechanisms. Studies addressing simulation environments, robot testing methodologies, and field deployment challenges are also encouraged.

Submissions may explore robotics applications in manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, environmental monitoring, disaster response, and exploration in hazardous or remote environments. Research that examines ethical considerations, user acceptance, and social implications of automation is welcome, particularly when supported by empirical data.

In addition to original research, the journal publishes technical notes, design studies, and reviews that synthesise recent advances in robotics and autonomous systems. By making all published content freely available, the Journal of Advanced Robotics, Autonomous Systems and Human-Machine Interaction fosters collaboration across academia, industry, and government, helping to accelerate responsible innovation in the field.

Whether your work focuses on building robotic prototypes, developing perception algorithms, improving autonomy in challenging environments, or studying safe interaction between humans and machines, this journal offers a dedicated space to share your expertise with a diverse and international audience.
