The Journal of Orthopaedic Medicine, Musculoskeletal Research invites the submission of original research articles, review papers, applied studies, case reports, and short communications within its thematic scope. Authors are requested to follow the guidelines below for manuscript preparation and submission.

Submission Guidelines

  • All manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format via the journal’s online submission portal.
  • A cover letter should accompany the manuscript, providing the corresponding author's contact details and a brief description of the article’s contribution or focus.
  • Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere.
  • Authors must confirm that all listed co-authors have approved the final version of the manuscript before submission.
  • Formatting should follow the journal’s standards. The editorial team may request revisions for clarity, structure, or presentation.

Article Types

  • Research Articles: Full-length studies on orthopaedic surgery, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal imaging, or related topics.
  • Review Articles: Structured syntheses of literature, clinical guidelines, or advancements in musculoskeletal care.
  • Case Reports: Detailed accounts of clinical cases with insights into diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation.
  • Short Communications: Concise updates, clinical observations, or early findings relevant to orthopaedic medicine.

Manuscript Structure

  • Title Page: Article title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author contact information.
  • Abstract: Structured summary (150-250 words) describing objectives, methods, results, and implications.
  • Keywords: 5-10 relevant indexing terms.
  • Introduction: Background, rationale, and research objectives.
  • Methods: Description of study design, surgical or therapeutic interventions, and assessment tools.
  • Results: Findings supported by data, tables, or figures.
  • Discussion: Interpretation of results in relation to clinical practice or existing literature.
  • Conclusion: Summary of key messages and recommendations.
  • References: Complete and consistent APA style references.

Review Process
Submissions are subject to double-blind peer review. Authors typically receive initial reviewer comments within four weeks of submission.

Copyright and Open Access
Accepted articles are published open access. Authors must agree to transfer copyright upon acceptance.

Article Processing Charges (APC)
An APC of $1019 applies to accepted articles. Authors with funding constraints may contact the editorial office to request a partial reduction.
