Leader-Shaped Spiritual Orientation (LSSO): A Conceptual Theory of Deterministic Leadership

Leadership research increasingly emphasizes ethics, authenticity, and self-regulation, yet lacks a formal internal theory explaining how ethical intention deterministically transforms into leadership action. Existing leadership models remain largely descriptive, behavioral, or outcome-focused. This article introduces Leader-Shaped Spiritual Orientation (LSSO), a novel conceptual and mathematical framework that models leadership as a recursive internal state-transition process governed by ethical constraints. Drawing inspiration from classical philosophical archetypes, reinterpreted strictly as abstract functional operators, LSSO formalizes leadership development as a progression of internal cognitive states within a structured state space (Gana). The framework integrates leadership theory, moral philosophy, systems thinking, and mathematical reasoning, offering a deterministic account of ethical self-leadership. This work contributes a foundational theory suitable for future empirical, computational, and crosscultural leadership research.
