About the Journal

InfraTech Journal of Sustainable Architecture and Civil Engineering is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that focuses on research and innovations in sustainable building design, infrastructure development, and environmentally responsible construction practices. It provides a platform for architects, civil engineers, urban planners, material scientists, and policy researchers to contribute ideas that support the design and maintenance of structures that meet both functional and environmental goals.

The journal highlights the importance of integrating sustainability into the core of architectural and engineering decisions. With rapid urbanization, growing environmental pressures, and increasing demands on infrastructure systems, the need for resource-efficient, climate-adaptive, and socially responsive designs has become more pressing than ever.

This journal welcomes work that explores structural efficiency, materials innovation, life cycle assessment, green building standards, energy use reduction, and the role of architecture and civil engineering in climate adaptation. Research involving infrastructure resilience, circular construction techniques, water-sensitive urban design, and low-carbon urban systems is particularly encouraged.

Topics also include the development and application of advanced construction materials, structural modeling and simulation, geotechnical engineering, disaster-resistant infrastructure, and the use of digital tools such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and parametric design in planning and execution. Contributions may address large-scale civil infrastructure, such as bridges, roads, and tunnels, or focus on sustainable architecture in the context of housing, public buildings, and community spaces.

InfraTech Journal of Sustainable Architecture and Civil Engineering supports interdisciplinary work that brings together environmental science, structural mechanics, building performance, and urban design. It encourages studies that consider not only technical feasibility, but also long-term performance, cost-effectiveness, and social outcomes.

The journal publishes original research, review articles, and technical case studies that contribute to the understanding and advancement of sustainable practices in the built environment. By making all published content openly accessible, the journal ensures that innovations in architecture and civil engineering reach a global audience of professionals, educators, and decision-makers.

Whether you are developing a new method for reducing embodied carbon in construction materials, modeling the seismic response of smart infrastructure, or evaluating passive cooling strategies in building design, this journal offers a place to present your work within a focused, engaged academic and professional community.
