Instructions for Authors
InfraTech Journal of Sustainable Architecture and Civil Engineering invites submissions of original research articles, review papers, case studies, and short technical communications that fall within the journal’s scope. Authors should adhere to the following guidelines when preparing their manuscripts.
Submission Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format via the journal’s online submission system.
- A cover letter must accompany the submission, including the corresponding author's contact details and a brief statement of the study’s relevance.
- Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another publication.
- All co-authors should approve the final version of the manuscript before submission.
- Submissions should follow the journal’s formatting style. Authors may be asked to revise for clarity, structure, or presentation.
Article Types
- Research Articles: Full-length papers presenting original studies on sustainable design, construction methods, materials, modelling, or systems performance.
- Review Articles: Detailed literature overviews covering recent developments or methodological advances in architecture or civil engineering.
- Case Studies: Field-based studies illustrating practical applications, engineering performance, or innovations in sustainable infrastructure.
- Short Communications: Brief but significant technical findings, design insights, or methods relevant to the journal’s scope.
- Manuscript Structure
- Title Page: Include the article title, full author names, institutional affiliations, and contact information for the corresponding author.
- Abstract: A concise summary of 150-250 words outlining the study’s objective, approach, and key findings.
- Keywords: 5-10 relevant terms to support indexing.
- Introduction: Context, rationale, objectives, and the study’s intended contribution.
- Materials and Methods: Description of experimental setups, modelling procedures, analytical tools, or technical designs used.
- Results: Presentation of outcomes, supported by figures, tables, or visual data where appropriate.
- Discussion: Interpretation of results, relevance to prior research, and practical or theoretical implications.
- Conclusion: Summary of main findings and any recommendations for future work.
- References: All citations must be listed in APA style, and authors should ensure consistency and accuracy.
Review Process
All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review by experts in relevant areas. Authors will typically receive initial feedback within four weeks.
Copyright and Open Access
Upon acceptance, authors agree to transfer copyright to the journal. Published articles are available open access for unrestricted use, citation, and distribution.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
A processing fee of $1019 applies to accepted articles. Authors who may face financial limitations may request a partial fee reduction for consideration by the editorial team.
