Journal of Pain Management, Palliative Medicine and Supportive Therapies is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication that shares research and practical approaches to controlling pain, providing palliative care, and offering supportive treatments for patients at different stages of illness. It is intended for clinicians, researchers, psychologists, physiotherapists, nurses, social workers, and policymakers who work to improve patient comfort and quality of life.
The journal features studies on a wide range of pain control methods, including medications, targeted procedures, physical rehabilitation, counselling, and integrative therapies. It also addresses the broader needs of palliative care, such as emotional support, communication, and assistance for families and caregivers.
Articles may focus on managing acute or chronic pain, cancer-related pain, nerve disorders, end-of-life symptom relief, and rehabilitation programmes. The journal also welcomes research on how services are organised and delivered, training for healthcare workers, and policies that make palliative care more accessible.
Case studies, clinical guidelines, and quality improvement projects are accepted alongside original research. The journal also publishes reviews that bring together practical experience and scientific evidence to guide better care.
By keeping all articles open to the public, the Journal of Pain Management, Palliative Medicine and Supportive Therapies encourages knowledge sharing among healthcare professionals, educators, and decision-makers. Its goal is to promote compassionate and effective approaches to pain relief and palliative care in all settings, from hospitals to homes.
