Biography:

Biography of Gregorio Rangel Gregorio Rangel is one civil servant of National Health Laboratory, Ministry of Health, Timor-Leste. He was completed his post graduate diploma in applied parasitology and entomology at institute for medical research (IMR), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2014. He was concluded his master degree in Biomedical Science in Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand in 2018. In government institutions, He was work with National Malaria Program, Ministry of Health from 2009-2013 and National Health Laboratory from 2013-2021. In partnership development, He has been worked as national consultant for World Health Organization Timor-Leste from November ? December 2020 with project ?Infection Prevention and Control?. He has also been worked as national consultant for World Health Organization Timor-Leste from September 2021-July 2022, project entitled ?Essential Health Services during COVID-19 period?. He has been also worked as national assessor for National Agency for Academic Assessment and Accreditation (NAAAA) from July-September 2022. He is a young scientist in medical laboratory. He has contributed various research and publication in biomedical science. Currently, he is working as head of department (equivalent national director) of exacts and natural science, National Institute for science and technology, Timor-Leste. He also a full-time lecturer at department of Biomedical Laboratory Science, Dili Health Science Institute, Timor-Leste. Meanwhile, he is working as principal investigator in a collaborative study between Menzies School of Health Research in Timor-Leste, Ministry of Health and Dili Health Science Institute with project entitled? The Use of Highly Sensitive Diagnostic and Typing/Sequencing Technology in the Pursuit of Malaria Elimination in Timor-Leste?.

DR. ALAIN L. FYMAT is a medical-physical scientist and an educator. He is the current President/ CEO and Institute Professor at the International Institute of Medicine & Science with a previous appointment as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and Professor at the Weil Institute of Critical Care Medicine, California, U.S.A. He was formerly Professor of Radiology, Radiological Sciences, Radiation Oncology, Critical Care Medicine, and Physics at several U.S. and European Universities. Earlier, he was Deputy Director (Western Region) of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (Office of Research Oversight). At the Loma Linda Veterans Affairs Medical Center, he was Scientific Director of Radiology, Director of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center and, for a time, Acting Chair of Radiology. Previously, he was Director of the Division of Biomedical and Biobehavioral Research at the University of California at Los Angeles/Drew University of Medicine and Science. He was also Scientific Advisor to the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, National Research Council, for its postdoctoral programs tenable at the California Institute of Technology and Member of the Advisory Group for Research & Development, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). He is Health Advisor to the American Heart & Stroke Association, Coachella Valley Division, California. He is a frequent Keynote Speaker and Organizing Committee member at several international scientific/medical conferences. He has lectured extensively in the U.S.A, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Africa. He has published in excess of 500 scholarly scientific publications and books. He is also Editor-in-Chief, Honorable Editor or Editor of numerous medical/scientific Journals to which he regularly contributes. He is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences and the European Union Academy of Sciences, a Board member of several institutions, and a reviewer for the prestigious UNESCO Newton Prize, United Kingdom National Commission for UNESCO.

Dr. Fymat's current research interests are focused on neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, dementias, epilepsy, and others), oncology (glioblastoma), epigenetics & ecogenetics, and nanomedicine & nanobiotechnology. Professor Dr. Rabiul Ahasan is currently teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and conducting research in the area of industrial health, safety and ergonomics. He has published numerous scientific articles, and achieved more than twenty grants for his career research. As a docent, he is affiliated with Oulu University in Finland.

Ahmed Hegazi is currently a Professor of Microbiology and Immunology in the National Research Center, Egypt. Prof. Hegazi received his master’s degree in 1979 and his PhD in 1981. Hegazi's research work has been focused lately on bee products and their therapeutic effects. Dr. Hegazi awards; First Class Decoration of Excellence, Egypt, 1995, The Senior Scientist Prize of National Research Center, Cairo, Egypt, 1996, The National Scientific Prize In Biological Sciences, Egypt, 1990, The Scientific Prize of The National Research Center, Cairo, Egypt, 1989, The Second Best Research Paper Award, International Congress of Propolis, Bones Aires, Argentina, 2000, Main Speaker Award,10 th Academic Conference, PRA and NAS (Nippon Apitherapy Soc.) Japan, 2006, 2 Bronze medals from The International Innovation Fair of the Middle East, Kuwait, 2007 Awarded of Ghazi Wad Allah Salon Prize, 2008. Awarded the Merit Aware of Medical Sciences, The National Research Center, 2016. Dr. Hegazi contributed Chairman of the National Committee for Microbiological Sciences (NCMS) in Egypt, Academy of Science and Technology, Egypt, from 2018. Hegazi organized and contributed to national and international research projects since 1977 and up till now; he has been the principal investigator on multiple research projects within the National Research Center. He conducted training courses on Clinical Microbiology, National Research Center in 1979. He has 236 articles in national and international scientific journals. Editor in 60 journals, Referee in the 98 International Journals, Organizer of 151 International Symposium and conferences, His publications: 242 articles in national and international scientific journals, 9 books in English language and 13 books in Arabic language. Deepak Rawtani, PhD, C. Eng, is an Associate professor and Associate Dean at School of Pharmacy, National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar. His research is focused on forensic nanobiotechnology with special emphasis to DNA?nanoparticle interaction and functionalization of halloysite nanotubes for enzyme immobilization, drug delivery, environmental applications. Dr.Rawtani is the author of more than 55 scientific papers and hand books in his research domain with journal of international repute. Besides a researcher, he is also a NABL empanelled Technical Assessor (ISO/IEC 17025).

Biography:

Mauro Zarrelli, born in 1974, he received his Master degree cum Laude in Material Engineering at University of Naples in 1998 and his PhD degree in Advanced Materials at Cranfield University in 2004. He was assistant Research at School of industrial and Manufacturing Science at Cranfield University from 1998 to 2002 working on thermo-chemo characterization of novel polymer composite matrix for aerospace application (Cranfield University - EPSRC funded project) and he received an AUDI Foundation grant (2001) as young researcher for the development of new holder jig to measure mechanical modulus during the polymerization reaction of modified thermosetting matrix system. He has extensively worked on cure induced stress deformation during the manufacturing of composites and physical-chemical changes due to the polymerization of thermosetting resin. From 2002 to 2004 as Responsible for the Thermal Analysis and Mechanical activities of Italian Aerospace Research Centre (CIRA) in Italy, he was involved in several EU and national projects within the area of composites characterization and design. He is currently Permanent Researcher at the Institute of Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials (IPCB) at National Research Council (CNR) of Italy. He is currently contract professor for the University of Campania at the Dept. of Industrial and Information Engineering holding the course of “Experimental technique for Aerospace Structures” for the Aerospace Engineering faculty since 2015. His main research interests include: development of advanced composites, mechanical characterization of material and structures, nano-reinforcement of thermosetting resin for composites application, cure dependent property, cure induced stresses in composite, viscoelasticity, and (as Responsible for an on going national project) resistance to fire of micro and nanoloaded thermosets. His has published more than 80 scientific peer-reviewed papers in international journal, more than 80 contributions to international and national conferences and 6 book contributions.
