Nanorobotics
The technology which is used to create machines or robots at or close to the scale of a nanometre (10-9 metres) is called Nanorobotics. Nanorobots (nanobots or nanoids) are typically devices ranging in size from 0.1-10 micrometres and constructed of nanoscale or molecular components. Scientists hope to use nanobots in medicine to kill cancer cells, deliver drugs to target tissues, and improve vaccines. Nanobots are also used in research as DNA probes, cell imaging materials, and cell-specific delivery vehicles.Relevant Articles
