Biography
My research activity has had as its object practically all the disciplines included in the scientific-disciplinary sector MED / 18 - General Surgery and interdisciplinary issues which include them (surgical pathophysiology, digestive system surgery, surgery oncology, experimental surgery, breast surgery, bariatric surgery, endocrine surgery, emergency surgery, video-assisted laparoscopic surgery), extending to disciplines included in related scientific-disciplinary sectors, such as vascular surgery, surgery thoracic and plastic surgery. I am the author of over 270 publications, in Italian, English and French, which appeared in the main national and international sector journals, and some chapters of books and treatises. I have been a speaker at numerous conferences and refresher courses, both in Italy and abroad.
