Biography

Masoumeh Taherimehr was born in 1983 in Ahvaz, Iran. In 2005 she received the Degree in Chemistry from the Chamran University of Ahvaz and in 2007 she obtained her Master Degree from the Lorestan University, Iran. In 2010 she started her Ph.D. at the KU Leuven under the supervision of Prof. Pescarmona. She hold her PhD degree in Bioscience Engineering from KULeuven in 2014. Since 2015 she works at the Babo University of Technology, Iran as professor. Her research interests are steadily growing and embrace many aspects of catalysis and of materials chemistry. A common thread in her research is the attention towards sustainability. Her curiosity is not limited to chemistry and he is keen on travelling and learning about di?erent cultures around the world.
