Biography

DR. PYAR SINGH is a an academician, a researcher, a communicator, assistant professor and an author with more than twenty years print, radio, TV, digital media, Head of School of Media and Mass Communication and visiting faculty of many universities. He worked across diverse ranges of news making, program scripting in both print media and electronic media, TV and All India Radio, magazines, leading newspapers, his passion for media studies, communication research and teaching students of journalism and mass communication. He has produced several articles and research papers and books on journalism and mass communication and also scripted books of distance and open learning on the courses of journalism and mass communication in the university. Beyond media studies, he enjoys teaching and travelling for new research issues or research topic, which have shaped his compassionate worldview. Not only has it, Dr. Pyar Singh earned name at national & international level as he is awarded with ?National Faculty Award? for his excellence in research. He presented himself through his research work in UNO?s organization WHO & UNESCO for his cardinal knowledge on contemporary issues of the world. He is also a reviewer of many research journals of international level, including Elsevier Scopus. On behalf of world?s largest Elsevier & Scopus publication & Elsevier Scopus researcher academy have awarded him with several certificates of ?Certificates of Research Excellence? & Scopus Certified certificates. His papers have been cited several times, and he has a significant presence in the Elsevier Scopus publications include his notable publications on media studies, educational research and environmental science.
