Biography
I have a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University in 1996, and a master's degree in 2001 and a Ph.D. in 2006 in Medical Physiology. I have been working as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Human Medicine, Zagazig University since 1998, then as an assistant lecturer since 2002, then as a lecturer since 2006, then as an assistant professor from 2015 until July 2021 and lastly Professor until now. I am a regular member of American physiological Society (APS).
Research Interest
Cardiac Physiology, ischemia reperfusion injury, stem cells, endocrinology, obesity, metabolic syndrome, dyslipidemia, hypertension, inflammatory markers, adipokines, cytokines, apoptotic markers.
