Adrenal gland disorder is the condition in which the normal functioning of the gland interrupts. The adrenal gland helps in producing hormones which effect the growth, development, and stress. It also regulates the function of the kidney. Production of the high amount of hormones or less production of hormones is called Adrenal gland disorder.

Disorders of the adrenal gland are Addison's disease, Adrenal crisis, Adrenal insufficiency, Congenital adrenal hyperplasia, Cushing's disease, Hyperaldosteronism, Hypoaldosteronism, etc.

Causes of adrenal gland disorders are Genetic mutations, Tumors including pheochromocytomas, Infections, A problem in another gland, such as the pituitary, which helps to regulate the adrenal gland, medicines.

Signs and symptoms depend on the type of the disease.

Treatments involve the type of the disease.
