Association of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Thyroid Disease: The Systematic Review and Meta Analysis

Introduction: Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) are more susceptible to thyroid disorders. Many diabetic patients exhibit features of thyroid dysfunction over a period of time. This study was designed to collect data on the association between T2DM and thyroid disease. Materials and methods: This study is a systematic review and meta-analysis. Source of this study data comes from literature obtained through the internet in the form of research results published on the internet, both in Cochrane, PubMed, Googlescholar, and other journal databases.
